The Suzie Tank Top is a great little basic accessory pattern to have on hand when you need to make a matching top to go with a special skirt, pants or shorts. I used it to make matching tops to go with the Suzie Skort. The top is made with lightweight knit fabric with a contrast woven bias binding on the neck and armholes plus an optional false front placket. The pattern includes a simple knit headband with a knot tie.This pattern is also suitable for boys

SIZES: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 to fit girls 2 to 14 years. A size chart in inches and centimeters is included.

EXPERIENCE: Advanced beginner: Easy to make; the tutorial shows how to make the bias binding for the neck and armholes.

FABRIC: for the main top use a 4 way stretch knit e.g. lycra, cotton/lycra or cotton/elastane; the fabric must have at least a 50% stretch on length and width. This pattern is not suitable for non-stretch fabrics. Use light weight cotton print for the bindings and placket. 

OTHER requires a stretch stitch setting on your machine and a ball point needle to stitch the knit fabric.
